My wife (Maria) and I made several trips to Europe after I retired and finally gave it up in April 1952 to buy this place in the mountains on the East rim of Napa Valley. We like it up here very much which is one of the reasons I'm doing all this house repairing. Someday I hope to have it all finished so that we can get around a little more often. Right now, we are tied down pretty much of the time."
