c1954 HIST: OR,Coos Co-Myrtle Point: c1954 letter from Jackson Eads to Mary Marks, no date, Eads #15b: "There is only one man Jack Eads that I have ever heard of that was Albert's oldest son's boy, lives at Myrtle Point, Ore. I saw him about 30 yrs ago. He was named after his famous great Uncle Jack ha-ha, that's me."
1955 HIST: OR,Coos Co-Myrtle Point: July 1855 typed letter from Elvin (Bill) Eads to Jack Eads, Eads doc #10: " Eads Auto Parts, 621 Spruce Street, Myrtle Pt, Oregon, Phone 201: "Dear Uncle Jack: We have been planning on coming up to see you... our business in on the main street of Myrtle Point, and easy to find. We are open every day except Sundays and on Sundays you can find us home only two blocks south of the garage, a yellow house with fire-place, easy to find. The house is on the same street as garage.
