  I was told by Martha Krusemark that Ella was the wife of James Jethro Stonehocker (you may have him listed as Jethro James in your records but Martha assures me that James Jethro is correct). I can only assume that James went to Alaska leaving her behind and died there with out any information ever being sent home to her as to what become of him. She obviously never remarried. You may want to ask Martha about Ella if you want more information than what I have.
