Frederick Lubbertsen had come from Amsterdam, Holland with his daughter, Rebecca and wife Stynje Jans, Lubbertsen, who was born about 1603 seems to have come to New Netherland as a Sailor, as did
Cors Pietersen. He is recorded as the chief boatswain to Director Kieft in 1638, and probably had been a
citizen of New Amsterdam several years prior to that. Apparently Lubberts wife Styntje had died by 1657, for two years after Cors Pietersendiedin 1655, his wife Tryntje Hendricks md. Frederick Lubberts.

17816 Sources for this information are from Guyan Township family records. I had Hazel Mary as this woman's name, but when we found her headstone, it read Mary Hazel. We chose the headstone record name order.

Family story, told by my grandfather, Myron Loren Halley, concerning his father's sister Mary Hazel Halley Harrison. In 1933 the Ohio River at Gallipolis was out of its banks. The Harrisons lived high above the banks of the river. Hazel picked up husband John at work. He drove home and just in front of their home, he drove the car over the bank and stepped out, with Hazel and the children John and Eileen going over with it. Hazel apparently rolled down the window and pushed young John out, but kept Eileen with her. A negro boy climbed down to the river's edge and pulled young John out of the water. In Hazel's Bible, she left plans for her funeral. Soon after, John Sr. married a woman he had been chasing. Hazel's four brothers discussed bringing murder charges, but Solomon and Coleman said, if he was guilty, God would punish him. His new father-in-law shot and killed him.

Source (1) Pieter purchased a house in Flatbush in 1661 and died before 15 Oct 1662 . From an application made by Femmetje Hermans to have guardians appointed for the two youngest children on 15 Oct 1662, we learn their names & their ages. Leffert is age 11 yrs. & Pieter Pierterse is 2 & a half yrs. Apparently the father Pieter Jans & his two older children have died in the 2 & a half yrs. between 15 Apr 1660 & 15 Oct 1662. Sander md. (1) Barbara Van Dieden in 1551. She was b. in 1528, probably from Heesselt.
She died before 3 May 1556. They had a dau. Marijken Sanders Van Tuyl; (Joost Van Dieden, t the brother of Barbara, is mentioned as her guardian) Marijken b. abt 1552. Source for this
found in source (2) p. 506.
Although no mention has been found of Sander as son of Reyner, there is a lot of indirect evidence. Reyner's son Arnt had common properties with his brother-in-law Ot van Herwijnen; properties that belonged to his father. Arnt's widow & Sander's widow and her son Jan were both heirs of Arnt. The son of Sander, Jan, was the first mentioned heir in the will of Wilhelmina van Herwijnen, the grandaughter of Reyner & niece of Sander. Part of the heritage was the uiterwaard mentioned by the wife of Sander's, Willemke to pay a tribute. Finally there was a common debt of the widow of Arnt van Tuyl, the heirs of Arnt van Tuyl, the heirs Ot van Herwijnen & the widow and the heirs of Sander van Tuyl. They have all been summoned by Albert de Ruyter, regarding anold claim.
He Sander was a member of the municipal council of Brakel 17 Oct 1552.
