William Thomas Edwards, Sr., age 77, died December 21, 1990 in a Salt Lake Hospital of Aortic Aneurysm.

Born June 30, 1913 in Oakland, California to William S. and Lucy Gibbs Edwards. Married Mary Edda Hamilton, later divorced. Married Helen Ohms November 16, 1963.

Retired in 1958 from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service. Served in WW II. Member of the Catholic Church.
He and his wife Helen lived in Cedar City for 12 years.

Survived by wife, Salt Lake City; sons, William T. Edwards, Jr., Malibu, CA; Arthur H. Edwards, Los Angeles, CA; Henry Edwards, Hollywood, CA; John W. Edwards, Hawaii; daughter, Karen Edwards, Arlington, WA; three step children, Darlene Ohms Larsen, Salt Lake City, UT; Don W. Ohms, Las Vegas, NV; Dennis Ohms, Cedar City, UT; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Samuel Edwards, California. Preceded in death by sister, Margaret, and both parents.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, where friends may call Wednesday, one hour prior to service.
