He was 91. Born May 5, 1914, in New York City , he married Alma Stonehocker on June 24, 1939, in Bend , Ore. , and served in the Navy from 1941 to 1945. He lived in the Renton area for 35 years. Mr. Knowle retired from the Renton post office after 35 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, swimming, gardening and animals. He is survived by is wife, Alma Knowle; sons Glenn Knowle and Ken Knowle; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Lacey
