    by Von Peter Kleber

Martin Leichterkost was a lithographer in Koblenz. He was granted a "license to operate a 'lithographic art establishment' on 28 Jan 1846. Leichterkost married Christina Eleonora Vecqueray on 25 Sep 1846. In late 1847, Leichterkost and his family "secretly left Koblenz" due to a dispute with lithographer Johann Baptist Ruhl.
