    • Lois Aleene Palmer, 74, died July 6, 1997, in Yelm. She was born in Hudson, CO on Oct. 24, 1922, to Roy and Ruby Stonehocker. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of Living Well Lady. She was also an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Tacoma, serving as Deaconess, offering counter, choir member, and helping with church beautification. Mrs. Palmer is survived by her children, Judy (Kenneth) Wiley, Anna (Charles) Kearns, Dennis Palmer, Fredrick (Kathy) Palmer, Linda Palmer, Patrick (Amy) Palmer, Steven (April) Palmer, Debora (Timothy) Alison, Douglas (Sonja) Palmer; brother, Beryl Stonehocker; sister, Donna Johnson. Services will be held Tues., July 8, 1 p.m. at Tacoma Central Seventh Day Adventist Church. Arrangements by Dryer Mortuary.
