    • (5) Birth Probably from Netherlands She and her parents are listed in (4) N.Y. Collection of Manuscripts, O'Gallaghans Translation Vol. I, p. 72 Vol. 4 P.11. Her Mother md. (2nd) Adam Roelantsen p. 34 of (4).
      (2) Tryntje appeared before the Orphan Masters of New Amsterdam in 1657 & stated her intention of marrying Frederick Lubbertsen. This very interesting record appears in the archives of New Netherland And offers; "Whereas Tryntje Hendricks widow of Cors Pieterszen, intends to become the wife of Frederick Lubbertsen, widower of Styntie Hendricks (should be Jans), and whereas Tryntie has three infant children by Cors Pieterszen & wishes before remarriage to settle upon said children their paternal inheritence......" (apparently her daughters Elsje & Grietje were deceased)
      Tryntje Hendricks shall be held & promises honestly to bring up her three said children, named Cornelis Corssen, 12 years old, Pieter 6 yrs & Hendrick Corssen 3 yrs. as well as she can, to have them taught reading, writing and a good trade or occupation, so that in time to come they may earn their own living, further to instruct them in the fear of the Lord and in religious exercises and to do all a good Mother is bound to do. until said children shall come of age or marry....... also a clear description of the location of their home which was on the lower tip of Manhatten Island.( In relation to the position of the home in modern New York City. It's about where Wall St., Exchange Place, New St. & Broad St. converge in the heart of the financial district of New York City.")
