  (1) He was baptized at the N.Y. Dutch Reformed Church 23 Dec 1705. NYG&B rec. 974.7 B4ne Vol. 2 p. 313. No death date is found for him in N.Y.City nor in Staten Island where he lived and raised his family. His marriage probably took place on Staten Island where his wife, Cornelia Corssen, daughter of Christian Corssen & his wife Antje Gerretse Croesen lived. The probability is that the marriage was recorded on Staten Island, c. 1727, but the early church records are not extant, the earliest marriage being 1764 in the Moravian Church & 1754 in St. Andrews Episcopal Church.
