1816 Court Naming of Nancy Mary Ann Williams
July 1816, Lincoln County, North Carolina

Lightfoot Williams found a female child and requested the court for her to be called and known as Nancy Mary Ann Williams. Lightfoot Williams entered into a bond to give her a good education, a bed, and $1,000 when she turns 18 years old.

This document shows that Lightfoot Williams and his wife are not the biological parents of Nancy Mary Ann Williams.
