      Remains for former well-known Taos resident will be cremated today. Word has been received of the death of Christ A Wagner at Bakersville CA. He is a former resident of this city. His body will be cremated in Fresno today.
      Mr Wagner was born near Taos 62 yrs ago. He removed to Jefferson City when a young man and resided here until about 1878 when he removed to his present home where he resided continuously until his death. The following relatives survive: 2 daus; 1 sister, Mrs George Peasner of this city; 4 bros: Conrad of this city; Lawrence of Sedalia; Henry of Mabton WA; and Louis of Denver CO.

      CHRIST A WAGNER DEAD IN CALIFORNIA - former resident, died at his home at Bakersfield, Cal., Sat (11 Dec 1920) after a long illness. The body will be cremated at Fresno tomorrow. (Tuesday 14 Dec 1920)
      Mr. Wagner was born on the old home place near Taos, Dec 1 1858, but left here 42 years ago. Two daughters, one sister-Mrs. George Peasner of this city, and four brothers-Conrad of this city, Lawrence of Sedalia, Henry of Mabton, Wash., and Louis of Denver, live to mourn his death.
      Mr. Wagner was well remembered here, especially among the older residents.
