Mentioned as a knaap (squire) & later as a ridder (Knight).Vassal of Duke Edward of Gelre during the quarrel with his brother Reinoud of Gelre. Witness of the marriage contract
between Duke Edward & Catharina van Beieren. Founder in 1345 of a vicariate of the HOLY virgin in the chapel at Tricht, sacred memory of Goosewijn van Tricht and his wife Nanneke, their parents & his own Parents. Donated in 1346 properties to this vicariate. Owner of land in the Cortweyde at Tuil.
