    • Buried: Headwaters Virginia. Killed by lighting on Shenandoah Mt.

      John along with his brothers were deeded 286 acres of land on Bull Pasture Mountain by his parents (for which he paid $1.00) and signed the bill of sale when the land was sold to Samuel C. Eagle. John was deeded his fathers land on Shaws Fork by his brothers and sisters on 1/10/1880.
