ATTG pg. 130: "In 1735-6, as the eldest son of an eldest son, he passed deeds in respect to rights of land in Dartmouth, inherited from his great grandfather, Francis Sprague". This verifies the lineage of the family back to Francis and that the Sprague's of Lebanon were the Sprague's of Duxbury.
Note: the above also confirms Ephraim as the eldest son of John.
His will probated 9 Dec 1754 mentions wife Mary, sons Peleg and Perez; dau. Betty who md. Abel Bingham, dau. Irene wife of Nathaniel Wright....(Windham Probate, IV, 466)
