5551 According to source: GENI.com Alonso "El Joven" had a brother Francisco De Saavedra Sandoval and half brother Davalos Saavedra.

Hernando Saavedra was related to Hernan Cortes and by 1547, Hernando Saavedra was already deceased. He had a daughter Leonor de Saavedra. Juan de Avalos, his brother, had also died; his children were named Isabel Alvarez Rengel and Pedro Lopez de Saavedra. Leopoldo "Polo" Bouttier mentions that Alonso de Avolos Saavedra Bracamonte was the 'First Count' of Mirabaje.

Leopoldo "Polo" states that Isabel de Avalos Saavedra Bracamonte is a nephew of Alonso de Avolos Saavedra Bracamonte "El Viejo" meaning the old. Also 'The Conqueror' who was one of the cousin's to Hernan Cortes.

John Schuyler (1708-1773) inherited the homestead and the very valuable copper mines situated at New Barbados Neck. He was a colonel of the local militia and horse regiment in Bergen County, and in 1735-1746, served as a member of the New Jersey Council. He died on January 12, 1773. Peter Schuyler (1710-1762) inherited a tract of land on the Rahway River near Elizabethtown, New Jersey. He was a commander of the New Jersey contingent in the French and Indian Wars. Peter Schuyler had one child, Catherine, who married Archibald Kennedy.

5581 Adonijah Schuyler and Elizabeth Bogert also had a son, Cornelius Schuyler, who married Antje (Ann) Merselis, daughter of Cornelius Merselis and Marritye Post. Ann Merselis descended from Jan Merselis, born 1500, and N.N. Van Der March to Pieter Mersellis, born 1600. Pieter, the first of the family in New Netherlands, represented Russia in the Court of Denmark and is buried under the Preakness Reformed Church on Church Lane in Preakness (Wayne).

Pieter removed from New Amsterdam to Bergen, where he died in 1682. His daughter, Jannetje Pieterse Mersellis, married Hellemeg Roelofse Van Houten, born in Rensselaerswyck, N.Y., and held land in Preakness. Pieter’s daughter, Nessje Pieters Mersellis, married Gerrit Gerrisen Van Wagoner and moved from Bergen to Preakness. Cornelius Schuyler and Ann Merselis are interred within a few yards of Adoniah Schuyler in the Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Lakes.

5591 Aert sailed in 1695,at age 20, to the Indian Ocean aboard the pirate vessel John and Rebecca in the position of Ship's Carpenter. After an initial pirate voyage, he settled in Madagascar, where he engaged in trading slaves and supplies to European mariners - his exploits being chronicled by Daniel DeFoe.
He married a Madagascan women (or Women) with whom he had children by circa 1703. He was last heard of 25 May 1714, in Madagascar, where he probably died.( For details of AertVan Tuyl's life, see:" A Van Tuyl Chronicle", Chapter 6. ----He possibly could have died at sea with his brother Capt. Otto.
