In the name of God, Amen. I, Margaret Schuyler, widow of Phillip Schuyler, sometime of Albany, merchant, being of sound mind, and considering that there having been some unhappy differences among my children; the youngest of them being apprehensive that by the strict rules of the common law, the will made by my said husband and myself on May 1st, 1683, might not be authentick enough to make such equal division among our eight children. But that Peter Schuyler, eldest son of my deceased husband, Peter Schuyler [probabaly meant Philip P.], might be entitled to all of the real estate. Yet, not thinking that my son, Peter Schuyler, would himself endeavor to take any such advantage, he being present at the making of said will. I give to each of our 8 children an equal part of all real and personal estate. And I being further willing to dispose of the real and personal estate, which, by of my husband.

And my son Peter, at my request, being agreed with the seven other children, by deed, dated August 16, 1707, by which all further differences among them are prevented, I do give to my eight children, Gertruy, Alida, Peter, Arent, Phillip, Johanes, and Margaret, and to the three children of my son Brant Schuyler, namely: Phillip, Oliver, and Johanes, all my estate, real and personal. Provided always, that my son Phillip shall have the farm called the Flatts, with the utensils, he paying therefor, the sum of 600, to the rest. And they are all to pay an equal part of 9 bushels of good merchantable wheat yearly, to the Patroon or Lord of the Manor of Rensselaerwyck. Mentions "Cornelia Schuyler, widow of my son Brant Schuyler."

I make my sons, Peter and Johanes, and my son in law, Robert Livingston, husband of my daughter Allida, executors.

Willard Reed (Bill) Petersen passed away Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013, at home surrounded by his loving family. Bill was born November 22, 1926 in Logan to Willard and Kate Maughan Petersen. His early life was spent between Hyrum and Salt Lake City with his younger brothers H. Clair and Stanford Burke. Bill graduated from South Cache High School and Utah State University where he affiliated with Sigma Phi. Bill was active in ROTC during his college years, later joining the Army. He served in the infantry stationed at Fort Ord, Calif. He attended the University of Utah Law School, returning to Hyrum to run the family sheep business. He loved his summers in Blacksmith Fork Canyon and winters on the Hansel Valley Range. Later in life he became a real estate broker founding Bonneville Realty with his long time friend, Grant White. Bear Lake Realty was his final business venture. Bill was active through out his life in civic and community organizations. He was a member of the Young Republican Party, attending many national conventions. He was an officer in the Utah Sate Woolgrowers Association. He was a charter member of the Hyrum Jaycees Club. He was a member of the Logan Golf & Country Club and a member of The Big Blue Club. He served as President of the Logan Board of Realtors. He was the Exalted Ruler of the Logan BPOE. He served as Commander of the American Legion Post in Hyrum. Bill married Mary Belle Brown on June 12, 1948. They loved and supported each other through good times and difficult times for more than 65 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Belle and their five children: Patricia (John) Hansen of Hyrum, Shari (Bob) Parson of Benson, Colin Reed (Debbie), of Hyrum, Krista (Gary) Thunell of Logan and Andrea (Charlie) Fullmer, Logan. Other survivors include: daughter in law, Marene Hugie; brothers, H. Clair(Marilena) and Stanford Burke (Carol); sister-in-laws Donna Zell Welch and Nelda Roskelly; brother-in-law, Russ Brown (Cathy); and many nieces and nephews who have fond memories of time spent with Uncle Bill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Kate Petersen, and In-laws; Russell M. Brown, Arlynn and Lloyd Olsen. Bill and Mary Belle are the loving and attentive grandparents of eight grandchildren of their own, 10 inherited grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren. Our family loved to spend time at their home listening to Grandpa's take on life! Daddy was a wonderful conversationalist and a voracious reader, devouring several newspapers and news magazines a day right up to the end. Compassion and unconditional love are just a small part of what we have learned from him. He had a passion for life and everything he pursued. What a wonderful legacy he leaves! We love you Daddy! We would like to express our love and appreciation to those who have cared for him: Vickie Donovan and Rich Quilty from Community Nursing Services, Dr. Steven Salisbury and Dr. Ali Ben-Jacob and their staffs. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at 12 p.m. at Allen Hall Mortuary where friends may call Saturday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity or hospice or to the Community Nursing Services. 18420 William Ames, the immigrant ancestor, was son of Richard Ames, of Bruton, Somersetshire, England. He came to America with his brother John, and settled in Braintree, Massachusetts, as early as 1640. He died in 1654. He married Hannah ---. John A Ames, his brother, came from Duxbury to Bridgewater, Massachusetts, where he was an original proprietor; he married Elizabeth Hayward, in1645; no children; he left his large estate by deeds in 1697 to his nephew John, mentioned below, and to the sons of his nephew; he died in 1698. William, son of John Ames, was born in 1605 and died January 1, 1653-54. He came to New England and settled in Braintree as early as 1641. He was admitted a freeman, May 26, 1647. He married Hannah ---, who married (second) April 6, 1660, John Heiden (Hayden). Don't have any idea if they had a son or a daughter . I don't know where he/she was born ? The only thing that i know is the he/she is the oldest of the 2 children born into this family . They had a son in 1932 . William Ray Nelson was bucked off a horse & kicked by a horse that took his life on March 1 1934 at the young age of 33 years old . He died of severe head injuries from the fall.

18431 William Taylor was born c 1774, near the "Little Levels" in then Greenbrier County, (now) Pochantas County, West Virginia. His parents, Daniel and Mary Taylor were separated when he was young and he was bound out to Valentine Cackley, a German, of Bath County, now Pocahontas County. William was raised by the Cackleys, became a blacksmith and married Mary Burrell on February 6, 1796. Their children were: (1) Daniel, m. Mary (Polly) Nicely, (2) Solomon, (3) Eli, (4) Mary, m. The William Robins married to Mary Barnes was a pork butcher. He and his wife baptized their daughter, Emma, in 1824 in a Presbyterian Church. In the 1841 census, William and his wife and daughter were living on George St. Emma died soon after and was buried in an Independent Chapel. William died in 1848. His wife, Mary Barnes, continued to be a pork butcher for decades. In the 1851 census, she is living with her sister, Sarah Barnes. In the 1861 and 1871 censuses, Mary was a retired pork butcher and living in various residences. According to all censuses, this Mary was born about 1801 in Wisborough Green, Sussex. Emma's baptism states that Mary was the daughter of George and Jane Barnes.

William Way Robbins married a Mary before 1827. They baptized their son, Ralph, in 1827 in the Church of England. This William was a hostler. In the 1841 census, William was already deceased. His wife and son were living on Marine Parade. In the 1861 census Mary was a nurse and living with her son, Ralph, and his family. In the 1871 census, Mary was a house keeper and her granddaughter was living with her. According to all censuses, this Mary was born about 1801 in Steyning, Sussex. This Mary was not the daughter of George and Jane Barnes.
