17545 Source: GENI.com. This may be incorrect and could have been born several years earlier.

In the source: Guadalajara ganadera: estudio regional novohispano, 1760-1805 by Ramón María Serrera Contreras she states that "Alonso de Ávalos Saavedra arrived in México in 1546 at the hands of his uncle." Therefore, the estimated birth date has been changed to 1520. Also on page 131 it mentions that Pedro de Avalos Saavedra who married Leonor de Bracamonte is a nephew of Alonso de Avalos, 'the conquistador' who is knownas 'El Viejo' therefore Alonso De Ávalos Saavedra is a brother of Alonso de Ávalos, 'the conquistador'.
