SIMONSEN was born on May 2, 1889 in Aarhus, Denmark, a daughter of Willads C. and Anne Jensen Mortensen. She married Carl M. Simonsen on May 7, 1913 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Former employee of Walker's Dept. Store and Bannock Hotel in Pocatello, Ida. MEMBER OF Bountiful 11th LDS Ward and former counselor in the Relief Society in Denmark. Active in Relief Society work; fulfilled an LDS Mission to Denmark, 1949 to 1951, with her husband. She has also fulfilled a stake LDS mission with her husband from 1951 to 1953. She is survived by her husband, one brother George of Pasadena, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Magda) Reddy of West Sacramento, Calif.; Mrs. Cathrine Larsen of Salt Lake City. FUNERAL services will be held Saturday noon at the Bountiful 11th LDS Ward, with Bishop Robert C. Welker conducting. Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Bountiful Union Mortuary.
