The Census of Staten Island in 1706 includes Isaac Van Tuyl age 25 and Sarah Vantull. The ancient baptismal records of their children in the Dutch Reformed Church in Port Richmond, Staten Island, New York are written in Dutch. 14486 I had 1865 as the birth year, but his headstone says 1868. Using the date on his headstone. On the Blazer chart Jay J. and the sister Hartie A. are both listed with the birth year 1865. Were they twins, or is it just Jay J.'s birth year that is wrong on the chart? Until further notice, I am using the 1865 year for Hartie, and the headstone year for Jay J.

On one family chart, JJ and Emma are listed as having had twin girls who died in infancy. Birth order unknown.

14493 I recently located a picture of Lydia Ann (Stonehocker) McKay and her husband George. Lydia was the daughter of William M. and Elizabeth C. (Lamm) Stonehocker. I suspect that the picture must date to about 1890 since they are accompanied by only one child in the picture. The child must surely be Stella since she was thier oldest. My information places the family as living in Barneston, Nebraska at that time.

Information taken from Joseph Stonehocker's (1846) family bible, Martin
Stonehocker's family bible in possession of Clyde Stonehocker, Meadow Lake,
Saskatchewan, 1850 & 1860 Coshocton census and Coshocton County records.

1. William H. Stonehocker Born: June 22 1842 at White Eyes Township, Coshocton Co., Ohio; Died: Nov 14, 1924 at Delta, Delta Co., Colorado; Burial: Delta Cemetery on Nov. 15, 1924
Additional notes for William: Burial records at Delta, Co. indicate William's middle initial as "H". His wife's death certificate indicates his middle initial as "M". Other sources indicate William's middle initial as being "Henry". William once owned land in the Carthage/ Lamar, Missouri area. He owned the land around 1918-1920 before moving back to Colorado. He had lived in the south eastern area of Colorado before moving to Missouri but chose to live in the southwestern part of the state near Delta upon his return to the state. William was originally buried in an unmarked grave but Verlie has told me that he recently purchased a gravestone for William's grave. Source: Verlie Stonehocker
