  1. 1.  Anna Mc Cleary was born 11 Jun 1873, Iowa, United States; died 25 Jan 1971, Garden Grove, Orange, California, United States.

    Notes:

Marion was married to Anna McCleary for awhile. She had boys who were grown
or nearly and that caused problems. She wanted to move to Calif. , he didn't but
he sold his homestead to my dad to get her money so she could. It was downhill
after that for him. He just couldn't get enough money together to recover. He
worked in town at Warden's garage but then he got mixed up with the worst kind
of woman you could imagine. I'm sure she slept with anyone who came along but
she would be at the garage when she knew he was being paid. After he died, I'd
see her on the street and she always had some remark for me. I was working
at the courthouse when she'd lost her mind and they were taking her to the
state hospital where she later died.
I notice in old census records they will list someone as widowed when
actually they were divorced. Martha Stonehocker Krusemark 09-08-09
