I wrote to the University of Wisconsin, River Falls. I was sent here by t he library in Pierce county. UWRF checked the newspaper for Pierce Count y Herald and found no obit. They also checked the Wisconsin State death i ndex (1959-1997) and he was not there with the death date we have. I the n checked the Wisconsin Death Index with the spelling, FISHER, instead o f Fischer and he was listed as Albert W Fisher, died age 71 in Pepin Coun ty, Wisconsin, 17 oct 1960.

Albert married Lena Elizabeth Bien Abt 1916. Lena was born 16 Aug 1898, Plum City, Pierce, Wisconsin, United States; died 5 Nov 1984, Pierce, Wisconsin, United States; was buried , Farm Hill Catholic Cem., Rock Elm Twp., Pierce, Wisconsin, Pierce, Wisconsin. [Group Sheet]
