1803 Marriage of Joseph Seyfried and Magdalena Speurer

Catholic Church, Leiberstung, Baden, Germany
(in Latin)

18 Jul 1803
After banns and dispensation in the parish church [of Leiberstung] and in Stollhofen, were married
Joseph Seyfrid, unmarried son of the deceased Jacob Seyfrid, citizen of Stollhofen
and
Magdalena Speurer, unmarried daughter of Bernard Speurer, Widower and citizen of Leiberstung

[signatures of Groom and Bride] Joseph Seifried, Magdalena Speirer
[signatures of sponsors]: Augustus Spratter, Vicarius Mia(?)
Witnesses: Fidelis Droll, Michel Lorentz

note: this marriage was found recorded in both Leiberstung and Stollhofen.
The Stollhofen marriage entry records only the priest's signature, whereas the Leiberstung entry records the original signatures of all present at the marriage. For this reason, it is assumed that the marriage actually took place in Leiberstung.
