William Goddard was the son of Edward Goddard. He married Elizabeth Miles. They emigrated to the United States with their 3 living children. He died 6 October 1691. Children: William, Joseph, Robert, Thomas, Benjamin, Elizabeth, Josiah, and Edward.

Edward Goddard was the son of William Goddard and Elizabeth Miles. He married Susanna Stone in June 1697. They resided in Watertown, then moved to Boston, then moved to Framingham. Children: Edward, Susanna, Simon, Benjamin, David, William, Mary, Ebenezer, Ebenezer, William, and Hepzibah.
