Catharine Carpenter, 39 years old; born in Switzerland (Catharine, born 1830)
"James" Carpenter, 13 years old; born in Utah (John, born 1857)
Louis Carpenter, 10 year old; born in Utah (Louis, born 1859)
Maggie Carpenter, 8 years old; born in Utah (Margaret, born 1861)
"Sophia" Carpenter, 6 years old; born in Utah (Selena, born 1864)
"Albert" Carpenter, 4 years old; born in Utah (Aaron Grant, born 1867)
"Jedadiah" Carpenter, 2 years old; born in Utah (Julien--death record gives birth year as 1870 but census records point to 1868)

Although the names do not match exactly, the dates and names are similar enough that it is the opinion of this researcher that this is the family of John and Catharine Carpenter).
