      Revola Kathleen Goodman, 88, of Taylorville died at 5:35 a.m. Thursday, M arch 5, 2009, in Heritage Manor, Carlinville .

      She was born March 5, 1921, the daughter of William and Lodema B. Isabel l Moore. She retired from St. Vincent Memorial Hospital .

      Surviving are her sons: Marvin E. (wife Debbie) Wicks of Langleyville, Ke nneth E. (wife Sue) Wicks of Portland, TN, and Daniel R. Wicks of Kincaid ; grandchildren: Kathy (husband Mike) Gross of Tovey, Tammy (husband Myro n) Sims of Taylorville, Debra (husband Rick) Hill and Steve (wife Lynn) W icks, both of Edinburg, Lori Westerbeck of Portland, TN, Stanley (wife De bbie) Wicks of Cape Girardeau, MO, Danette (husband Jeff) Durbin and Shan non Wicks, both of Kincaid, Rick Rueff of Palmer and Lorie Kobe of Langle yville. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jerry Seaman ; step-mother, Hollis Moore; and grandson, Michael Wicks .

      Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, March 9, in Shafer-Perfett i Funeral Home, with Rev. Dayle Badman officiating. Burial will be in Oa k Hill Cemetery.

      Deceased Name: Jerry A. Semon Sr.
      DECATUR — Jerry A. Semon Sr., 68 of Decatur passed away peacefully at 3:4 7 a.m. Thursday (July 17, 2008) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral Ser vice will be 12:30 Saturday (July 19, 2008) at Life Resurrection Church ( formerly Bethel Bible Church) 1085 W. McKinley Decatur, IL., 62526 with P astor Jack Greenwood officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 1 1:00 a.m. to service time. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Macon Count y Memorial Park with Military Rites by the Macon County Honor Guard. Memo rials may be made to the Macon County Honor Guard. Tanzyus-Logan Funera l Service is in charge of arrangements .

      Jerry was born April 11, 1940 in Logan, IL., son of William and Hallie Mo ore Semon. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a part of Strategic Air Com mand and was honorably discharged in 1963. He worked as a Tire Builder fo r 30 years at Firestone Tire and Rubber Co. He loved to fish, collect an d shoot firearms, and enjoyed his grandkids .

      Surviving are his children, James A. Fleming (Step-Son) of Blanchester, O h., Connie S. Semon of Decatur, Becky McCleery of Cincinnati, Oh., Jerr y A. Semon of Decatur, brother, August E. Semon of Sharpsburg, IL., Delor es Martin of Ohio, Revola Goodman of Hillsboro, IL., grandchildren, Jame s A. Fleming Jr., Kalin Durbin, Carley Nicole Semon, Michael Reed McCleer y, Derek James McCleery, Jeffrey Allan Fleming, Haley Gwen Semon, Baile y Marie Fleming, and great grand daughter, Brooklyn Nicole Fischer, Lon g time friend Josh Ewald. Also surviving is his good friend and former wi fe, Emma Sue Green Semon.

      He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Betty Hatcher .

      The family wishes to thank Dr. George Duncan "Jerry always loved and rave d on you", also DMH Hospice nurse Desiree and nurse Linda Shafer "you wer e the greatest".

      Jerry was a devoted father and grand father and will be deeply missed .
