      Edward Bradshaw was born in Putnam County near Unionville 1 Nov 1864 and died 20 Jan 1922 in Hastings NE. He married Josie Smith near Scottsville 12 Aug 1891. Three children born: Fay Gertrude died in early youth; Verlan of Atlanta MO; and Mrs Olga Casler, Hastings NE. Body was returned to Unionville and burial in city cemetery

      Ed Bradshaw died suddenly at home in Hastings NE about 5:00 Friday morning. He had been ill about a week Feeling of fullness, got over, went back to work. Thursday evening he & Mrs Bradshaw spent evening with Mrs G W Jordan, whose husband was visiting old friends in Unionville. He went to bed feeling fine, about 5 am awakened, with the return of sense of fullness. She got hot water
      applications; he fell back dead.
      Mr Bradshaw lived in Hastings almost 3 yrs, employed (freight) by Burlington Railroad; 1 yr in
      Tulsa OK before that. Both he & Mrs Bradshaw regarded these locations as temporary, Unionville permanent.
      Mr Bradshaw's body was brought back to Unionville, accompanied by his wife & son Verlan, who is superintendant of schools at Atlanta MO. Their daughter, Mrs Olga Casler, was unable to come, new 6 wk old infant. Funeral was conducted by Church of Elder Floyd M Edwards Monday afternoon at 2:30. Interned at Unionville Cemetery.
      Edward Bradshaw was born north of Unionville on 1 Nov 1864. He went away to school - Tulsa, Hastings, but most of his life was spent in Unionville. Attended school at Avalon College, graduated in 1888 from Smith Business College in Kirksville. He married 12 Aug 1891 to Josephine Smith of near Browning. They had 3 children, one died as an infant. Verlan, Mrs Olga Casler Hastings NE & wife survive. Mr Bradshaw a member of Christian Church; devoted to the work of the Master as outlined in tenants of that church. Many friends regret his passing.
