      Aug 1997 letter from Kathy McCord: Wm Lewis Clark was said to have been a troublemaker on the wagon train. He shot at a man and tried to kill his bro Rufus. In "Emigrants to Oregon in 1844:" Clark Eads son of Moses Eades (CK OUT-Connie's email shows right after this stmt, "General Notes: Pages from a bk "The Oregon Trail," a diary of Rev Edward Evan Parrish in 1844.
