      William was bom in Newcastle, Northumberland, England, the fourth child of John Fawcett (3-3) and Elizabeth Stonehewer. He was christened 6 October 1717. He died and was buried 24 December 1746 in St. Nicholas, Newcastle, England.

      John was born in 1676 in Lambton, Durham, England, third child of Christopher and Dorothy Fawcett. He married Elizabeth Stonehewer. They had nine children: Christopher (4-5), Richard (4-6), (our ancestor), John (4-7), William (4-8), Thomas F. (4-9), Mary (4-10), Dorothy (4-11), Elizabeth (4-12), and Elizabeth (4-13). Elizabeth Stonehewer was born about 1680 and was buried 18 May 1766. John was a barrister. He was buried 9 May 1760.
