      Feb 1956 letter from Thelma Burden to Mary Gray Marks, Eads doc #14: "My mother died when I was 6 months old [born Aug 1909]. Oma was 11 and the boys were 13, 15, and 17. Oma was our little mother..Papa was wonderful too and it was no easy task for any of them. I had the easiest time of all because I never knew my mother and of course didn't miss her like the rest. My mother was a wonderful woman too and Papa loved her very much. He never married again. Not that he wouldn't have had a chance as he was very popular and so much fun.
      He and Uncle Bill were such pals and went everywhere together with me tagging along and loving every minute of it. We had so much fun. I was so far behind the rest of the other children in age that I was with Papa so long alone and we got along just fine alone too..."
      Ran a saloon in Princeton ID with Frank Adair.
