    On ship manifest list (embarkation) from Le Havre, France to NY, NY arriving 14 November 1831. His age states 29 which would support his birth date in 1802. Occupation...cabinet maker. May have been traveling with another person by the name of Christian Baptiste listed as a butcher age 27. Another file from Ancestory.com states the "origin" of the ship was from Switzerland.

    • 07222018 Additional information regarding Leopoldo, his brother Carlos "Charles" and their mother Juana and father Juan Baptiste Bouttier; it may be that Juan Baptiste Bouttier knew Ygnacio Fletes from Tepic, Nayarit where there was plans to build a textile factory and if Juan traveled to Mexico, he may have met Juana and then Juana my have traveled to Franch where the Leopoldo and Carlos "Charles" were born. Later Ygnacio Fletes met with Leopoldo and Carlos who helped with the operation of the textile factory near Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico.
