Her beautiful spirit touched many far and wide and her life history is rich. Born Florence Louise Hughes in Salt Lake City, Utah, on November 15, 1915, she was fifth of six children born to Francis and Elizabeth Hughes. Her cherished siblings remained dear to her throughout her life. Louise grew to be a very active member in the Salt Lake City society. Her marriage in 1942 to Winnetka, Illinois' Robert Walpole, Jr. led them to many fine residences around the country -Bryn Mawr, PA, Louisville, KY, San Carlos, Orinda and Palos Verdes, CA, Wellsville, NY and Ellenton, Florida. Her wit, energy and creativity graced each home. In addition to being a devoted wife and mother, Louise volunteered countless hours of her time and energy helping to make the world a better place. She had recently resided in McKinney, TX. She is survived by her three children who will honor her memory for eternity, Bob Walpole of Newark, NY; Debbie Perkins of McKinney, TX; and Elizabeth Brown of Woodinville, WA.; as well as six grandchildren, Kym Morris, Ian Walpole, Emily Walpole, Alexanne Brown, Cory Brown and Kayla Perkins.
