Notes - Polly Anne (it is rumored that on her marriage license it says 'Mary Elizabeth') married Eli Michael on 12 February, 1882 in Franklin , W.Va. They moved over the mountain and lived in Centerville, Va. for a few years. Then they moved above Sangersville and bought a farm where they lived until Eli died in 1938.

Polly Anne Armstrong was born December 12, 1862, the second child of Eli and Elizabeth Ann Armstrong. I have been told that on marriage records Polly Anne's name appears as "Mary Elizabeth". She married Eli J. Michael on February 182, in Franklin, W. Va. They moved over the mountain from West Virginia and lived in Centerville, Virginia, for a few years. Then they moved above Sangersville and bought a farm where they lived until Eli died in 1938. Polly Anne and Eli had 12 children.
