She was born February 11, 1930 in Ogden, Utah to John Frederick Barlow and Lavina Ann Ririe, the youngest of six children. She married Clell Henry Bateman August 28, 1964 in the Salt lake LDS Temple and was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many capacities. Lois was devoted to her family and will always be remembered as a loving mother, caring sister and an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by two sons: David Bateman and Daryl (Traci) Bateman; stepdaughter, Marietta (Gary) Williams; four grandchildren: Alecia (Ronn) Raymond, Kristin (Mike) Pierce, Merrick (Amanda) Williams, Chelsa (Brad) Hansen; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers: Glen Barlow and Ray (Kay) Barlow. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Clell; brothers: Keith Barlow, Elwyn Barlow; and sister, Ruth Hooper. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 9, 2006, 12:00 noon at the Cannon 4th Ward, 1301 South 1200 West. Family and friends may call Sunday, October 8, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 S. Redwood Rd. and Monday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
