Louise Turner was born in Germany 2 Nov 1852 and died at her home at Elm wood March 27, 1923 of pneumonia. Feb. 24, 1876 she married Julius Fische r, in 1883 they came to this country, settling in Dodge Co., From there t hey moved to Pierce Co., in 1886, settling on a farm near Rock Elm. In 1 910 they quit farming and moved to near Elmwood and in 1919 they moved t o Elmwood, which has been their home since. She is survived by her husban d, two daughters and four sons-Herman and Anna, of Oregon, Paul of Montan a, Ed, Vida and Albert of Rock Elm. Funeral services were held March 30 a t the German Luthern churh. Burial was made in Poplar Hill cemetery at Ro ck Elm.
