On the 16th July 1850 "Abby Cook Gavitt died at 2 o'clock P.M." and on the 17th "Mary Gavit died at 11 o'clock A.M. Abby was the daughter of Elisha Cook and she had married 28 Oct 1849 Hazard Gavitt son of Reuben & Mary (Tourgee) Gavitt of SK. Hazard Gavitt's sister was the Mary who died the next day...
