to Yamhill Co OR on a wagon train in 1844 with her parents, Solomon and Susannah Eads. Levi, her husband, came to Oregon in 1845 on a wagon train with his father's family:

1850 LAND,HIST: They filed Donation Land Claim #5112 for 643.61 acres in Polk Co.

1955 HIST: June 1955 letter from Guy Pearson to Mary Gray Marks #38: "All the Burdens, that is all the older ones my father's age, especially the men I believe are all gone now. Lulu & Minnie Burden may be alive yet I don't know. The Burdens all at one time lived about 20 miles from Moscow up near Potlatch & Princeton."

1861: He bought 100 acres of land July 1861, Yamhill Co OR...from Sarah's mother, Susannah Eads.
